Dr. Melanie Sheinheit is an attentive and detail-oriented optometrist caring for the Plainview, NY community. Dr. Sheinheit obtained her degree in optometry from the State University of New York and completed her residency at Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System. Dr. Sheinheit sees patients for contact lens fittings, eye infections, routine vision exams, dmv exams, and myopia management.  Outside of her practice, Dr. Sheinheit enjoys photography and spending time with her family.

Dr. Sheinheit’s goal is to provide patients with the best eye care and vision to suit all their visual needs. She believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health.

Dr. Maresca  has been practicing optometry over 20 years. She is a graduate of Cornell University and SUNY College of Optometry.

Dr. Maresca specializes in the hard-to-fit patient and enjoys solving her patients' difficult visual needs. Dr. Maresca is  caring and dedicated to all of her patients.

She understands the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and its impact on overall wellness, and she strives to inspire her clients to make healthy choices. Through her expertise in eyewear and her commitment to health and wellness, Heather is a valuable asset to her community.

With over 25 years of experience in the field, she has mastered  her skills in fitting eyeglasses, and has become a trusted advisor to her clients.

Heather is certified by both the American Board of Opticianry (ABO) and the National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE), demonstrating her deep knowledge and understanding of the field.

Heathers  passion for health and wellness doesn't stop with eye care. In her personal life she is an accomplished athlete and Ironman triathlete.

Jessica is a dedicated individual who has been at Optical Image for 5 years. Starting as a novice in the field, she is now an apprentice optician with a strong foundation in optical theory, and is committed to learning all she can about the field in order to provide exceptional care to her patients.

Jessica's desire for knowledge led her to pursue higher education, and she recently completed her third year at Farmingdale. In her spare time she enjoys hiking and going to the gym.

With her warm and approachable demeanor, Jessica takes the time to listen to her patients' needs, understand their lifestyle requirements, and offer personalized recommendations that meet their unique preferences.
